About Me
I’m Mark Evans, the photographer behind Wild About Dogs Photography. Based in the Shropshire Hills near Church Stretton, I’m fortunate to have some of the UK’s most beautiful landscapes right on my doorstep, providing the perfect setting for natural outdoor dog photography.
I’ve always had a love of animals, and photography has given me a way to combine creativity with time spent outdoors. My background in wildlife photography has taught me patience, observation, and how to work with natural light and unpredictable moments, qualities that help create relaxed sessions and authentic images of dogs.
“The session felt relaxed and natural, with plenty of time for Stanley to enjoy one of his favourite walks. Mark was patient, thoughtful and captured Stanley’s character beautifully.” - Andy
My approach is calm, personal and shaped around your dog’s individual personality. Whether your companion is energetic and playful or quieter and more thoughtful, my aim is to capture natural moments that reflect what makes them unique.
“Mark took the time to connect with our Cavapoo, Flump, making her feel at ease during the shoot.” - Lily and Demi
My wildlife photography has been recognised by the British Wildlife Photography Awards and the Scottish Nature Photography Awards, and that experience continues to influence the way I photograph animals today.
At Wild About Dogs Photography, my goal is simple: to create timeless artwork and lasting memories that celebrate the special bond between dogs and the people who love them.
